We are use an “in command” system to ensure all brands are comparing like for like positions as best as we can. Actual job titles aren’t so important, it’s more important that managerial level is consistent. see below:
Core Management Roles
General Manager, or any role deemed “1st in command”
Assistant General Manager, or any role deemed “2nd in command”
Assistant Manager, or any role deemed “3rd in command”
Supervisor, or any role deemed “4th in command”
Head Chef, or any role deemed “1st in command” in the kitchen
Sous Chef, or any role deemed “2nd in command” in the kitchen
Junior Sous Chef, or any role deemed “3rd in command” in the kitchen.
Non-Core Management Roles
Front of House employees (FOH) – all other front of house roles you have that don’t fit into the core management structure above
Back of House employees (BOH) – all other kitchen roles you have that don’t fit into the core management structure above.
